Today, I was walking through CitiLink Mall & stopped by along the way to talk to Tere who was working at one of the temporary kiosks there..
Saw her on the phone, seemingly anxious and agitated.
Upon asking..
She told me that her grandfather was hospitalised this morning at Changi General Hospital..
Decided to accompany her there to visit him.
Little did I expect him to be warded in the Intensive Care Unit.. With so many tubes and all.
Intravenous drip, glucose drip, blood transfusion and so on..
She told me he had lost all bodily functions. I felt really sad for the old guy and Tere; seeing her cry her emotions out.
2131H: The old guy have left this world. Now feeling that life is only this much.. It's what you do to make it one without regrets.
